SPRITE Notes
SPRITE Notes help organize difficult reading passages. Our college-level text demands close attention when reading. The notes due each day are structured in 3 columns, and while reading, the student groups information into the 3 catagories, which are based on the letters in the word SPRITE.
S OCIAL - meaning traditions and developments in everyday life
P OLITICAL - meaning changes in power, authority and governing territories
R ELIGIOUS - meaning the spiritual beliefs and values of a given society
I NTELLECTUAL - all the humanistic goods: art, architecture, literature, music, philosophy etc.
T ECHNOLOGICAL - the advancements and progression of inventions and science
E CONOMIC - how money, goods and services are produced and consumed

Note Bene: SpriteNotes are used at home, while during class, if there is information, this can and should be noted down in a more regular way. Notebook writing is a college skill, so we will practice discerning the important things from that which may be left out.
