PASCO ECOTOURISM
Hudson itself offers some 'wild' ecotourism possibilities for the individual, and it is unorganized. In other words, its on one's own initiative. A new county park is planned for north Old Dixie, past Sea Pines on the way to Aripeka, but this is not yet built. There are bird sanctuaries but they are, again, not built out for tourism. Nearby in New Port Richey, however, there are a plethora of things to do at Starkey Park and other places, all available year round. Please consult the websites listed at right, to find out more. Unusual sports in Hudson consist of cavediving and horseback riding.
